SKIN TYPE

DRY SKIN

Dry skin lacks lipids (natural oils) and moisture, which can be caused by a number of different factors. If your skin is very dry, it can become more vulnerable and less resilient to external influences. It is therefore important to restore the skin’s moisture balance by using products rich in hydration and nourishing lipids to help bring dry skin back into balance.

SENSITIVE SKIN

Sensitive skin tends to react strongly to the environment around it. Heat, cold, wind, UV rays and humidity can all have a significant impact on sensitive skin. People with sensitive skin will often find that there are many skincare products their skin does not tolerate well.

It is important to care for sensitive skin with mild, gentle products and a sunscreen that helps protect the skin. Choose gentle products that are free from perfume to reduce the risk of irritation, rashes and allergic reactions.

AGEING SKIN

All skin matures with age, and as we get older, changes naturally occur in the skin. Collagen production decreases, causing the skin to become less elastic and smooth.

Cell renewal also slows down, and some people may notice that pigmentation caused by previous sun damage becomes more visible.

COMBINATION/OILY SKIN

If you have oily skin, you may notice that it appears greasy and shiny. Oily skin is caused by an increased production of sebum, which is the skin’s natural oil. If you have oily skin, you may also be more prone to blemishes such as spots, blackheads and clogged pores.

On the positive side, wrinkles and fine lines are often less visible on oily skin.
